There are many reasons homeowners decide to begin a master bath renovation. As I stated in a previous blog, master baths have become must-haves for today’s high-end homebuyers. But a good return on investment is not the only reason to redo that space.

Just spend a few moments daydreaming about creating a master bathroom where you can indulge all your senses. A place to pamper yourself in a soaking tub. A place designed in your personal style. A place to enjoy those new handsome bathroom countertops and that awesome new hardware. There are so many good reasons to start your master bath update now. Here are 4 to consider:

    I’ve blogged before on home makeovers including this one that lists the top 7 renovations that will pay you back. Of course, bathroom facelifts are on that list. According to the 2018 Cost vs. Value Report from Remodeling Magazine, bathroom renovations offer one of the highest ROIs. Luxury homeowners who spend at least $61,662 on renovating a bathroom receive an average of a 56.2% return on investment.

    Just consider that the master bath is part of your master suite retreat, worthy of the best. It’s important to remember that your ROI on any renovation project depends on work quality and material choices. So, I always suggest you do your due diligence and research what’s in style for the master bath before you start tearing down any walls.
